Bee loss and baby gain
It's April something and life has changed drastically since the last post. Sadly, I lost the bees this past winter. I'm still not sure exactly what happened but one week they were flying and the next week they were not. When I went into the hive to check on them, it looked like Pompeii in there. It was sad to see the girls, frozen in time.
I have a boy now. Whistle Emmett Foxbury. He's the most amazing, beautiful thing I could have imagined. Actually, he's more amazing and more beatiful than I could have imagined.
I plan to start anew in Spring 08 with new bees and I hope to show Whistle just how cool this bee business is.
